Jiaqi's Journeys
[Link opens in new window.]

Jiaqi's Journeys was my last homepage at time of writing (relative to this one anyway). I started work on the site in April 2000, but completed it only in December 2000.

It was planned to be a monstrously huge site, with lots and lots of content and information that would never have been done anyway (thanks to the scarcity of time and interest/enthusiasm haha). So, that site went public with tons of broken links, and not very much content.

It was my first attempt at creating a site with a clean design, and it is one of the precursors to the clean, sleek, and clutter-free design that I strive for now.

Hole-in-the-ground
[Hole-in-the-ground] Hole-in-the-ground

Hole-in-the-ground was created in November 1999 for this competition, Modem 99, held in New Delhi, India (read more about that here :P).

It was yet another one of those content-overloaded things that I was attempting to create, and throw in all the information I could muster about myself to bore whoever was interested (read: bored) enough.

The design was a rather primitive one, harnessing the content-index-in-the-left-frame thing that was once so popular in the early days when HTML 4.0 was non-existent.

Of course, as was to be expected, I never got around to completing the text, though I did upload it somewhere (I can't remember where). Worst of all, what little text (ok it was quite a lot) that I wrote was destroyed as I accidentally merged an older version onto a newer version. Oh well.

In other words, this site no longer exists. :)

Infocentral
[Infocentral] Infocentral

This is yet another one of those attempts at information-overloading, as you can tell from the screenshot. Go ahead, click on the picture to see a bigger version and go laugh at it. :P

It's very interesting how so many of my past homepages have focused on trying to show people what I know, and on sharing everything I know, in every altruistic sense of the word.

So, it's not very interesting. It wasn't. It was online only for a brief period, but Chinese High's killed my account.

4th Revamp
[4th Revamp] 4th Revamp

Well the name of this revision of my homepage tells it all. I'm still wondering how I counted 3 more homepages before that.

At any rate, this page actually went live on the net, except that, once again, it's dead because Chinese High revoked my account on graduation.
