It's an absolutely lazy, scorchingly, blisteringly hot Sunday; it's been quite a while since I've been able to just, well, sit down, have nothing to do, and relax, on a Sunday, what with the recent flurry of work; but, I'm glad that it's all ended, and I'm mildly glad too, that I'm finally going back to camp, doing what I should be doing.
It's blindingly hot today--the skies and air bleached by the sheer heat of the sun to an off-white, a sheen of gleaming heat blanketing the world all around, the soft, slow breeze that's blowing uncomfortably warm, a deadening air of stifling laziness enveloping me completely, the sordid, musky smell of deadened sloth heavy and thick.
Blah. What a terrible kind of Sunday--it feels like we're all sitting around waiting for death to catch up on us--what a morbid thought at that.
But I guess we all need time out, to thaw and just chill (well, pardon the irony in that; my brain's too numbed by the heat), to let the world go by a bit.
What a scorchingly hot Sunday; good day for infrared photography; too bad I still haven't convinced myself that the 38 bucks for an IR filter is worth it ;).
Oh well; so there; back to camp--updates'll come less often I suppose, but do wait for the reopening of Perspectives; it isn't too far away already.
Hello to everyone out there. Won't you guys just be dears and say hi, leave a comment, something on the tagboard, yeah?
Haha. :)
Good day.
