At Long Last!

Life

At long last, I've completed the revamp of Perspectives after much feet-dragging over many parts of the site; it's a complete design/philosophy/layout revamp, and I've done away with the single image as the keystone of my work; instead, it's the photoseries now, the photoessay--image collections that form the frame/structure of this particular portfolio of mine.

Coming soon--a revamp, and I promise, more updates, on PhotoWORDs, which will become my showcase of singular images--quite a different thing from photoessays.

So there. Enjoy, as I try to finish re-sorting and uploading all my shots, especially those I've taken in the past 2 months but have not had a chance to put up.

And what better day than a leap day to launch Perspectives on. Haha. :)

Yeah. Leap days--the day when all women would have to accept marriage proposals or face a penalty of having to present the man with a gift--as it went in one column in Sunday LifeStyle! of The Straits Times today. Haha. How amusing.

The Leap Day--a day of numerous, limitless possibilities (image anniversaries on Leap Days. ;>).

EDIT: And so, it seems I'm not the only one facing such problems; I don't think you read this, or know of the existence of this place, Dexter, and neither do I think you'll even click on the MORE link at the bottom of this entry on the main page; but, well, I guess there are many irrational, unreasonable people around, who all too often, give in to the evilness of narrow-mindedness. I guess we've all got to learn to toe the lines, continue persisting at what we think is right to do, and yet anticipate all the antics of these fools and learn to cope with them, so that there ain't too much of a threat around.

Suddenly, it feels a whole lot more comforting, to know I'm not alone in this. Ah well. The world we live in, unfortunately, is not a perfect one. But the secret lies in living out our own ideals of perfection and believing in them despite all the imperfection I suppose.
