The rain's been beating against the ground almost continuously for the past 2 days that I've been parked here, by the window of the study in my house, in front of my computer, completely uninspired.

It's felt quite nostalgic, sitting here, stoning in front of the computer--so reminiscent of the many periods of post-examination lulls I've spent here, albeit in front of silly games such as SimCity2000/3000 or WarcraftIII rather than a blank canvas on Adobe Photoshop (my creative juices horrendously dried up).

All the drab, grey skies, the soft, lightly scented north winds blowing gently through the balcony windows, and all--so reminiscent of those yesteryears. It's been a peaceful 2 days spent sitting here (nothing much achieved at all).

It's funny, how some things just don't seem to matter to me anymore; as we assembled by the lobby in camp on Monday, and as our warrant told us we'd be having no more nights off for the whole of next month, on top of having lost the "privilege" of walking (now, we've got to march. *@&#%^*!@%^) to meals, all that went through my head was, "oh great now I can sleep at 9 every night and sing my way to the cookhouse every meal"; and that thought didn't come without relish--I had to even arrest the smile/smirk trying to materialise on my face.

I don't know; perhaps I'm just tired of life already. I'm just drifting along...with the rain.
